# Fix setup problems

Docs for TrueQuery 0.1.6. The setup problems the TrueQuery docs cover, and where to report anything else.

## uv isn't installed

TrueQuery needs [uv](https://docs.astral.sh/uv/) (Python 3.11+).

## Per-edit checks don't run on Windows

They need [Git for Windows](https://git-scm.com/download/win), which provides Git Bash. CI runs the plugin's scripts on Windows, but nobody has run TrueQuery in Claude Code on a real Windows machine yet, so tell us what you find.

## Muse Code can't find truequery

If the skill can't find `truequery` on your PATH, install it:

pip install truequery
```

## You're on an old version of the plugin

Claude Code doesn't update third-party plugins unless you ask. See [Stay up to date](https://analytically.ai/truequery/docs/stay-up-to-date.md).
